Welcome from our Headteacher

A very warm welcome to St Margaret Clitherow, our one-form entry Catholic primary school in Thamesmead on the border of Greenwich and Bexley. Our small size is one of our greatest strengths, allowing us to create a cohesive community where every child is uniquely known, cherished and supported.

At the heart of our school are our wonderful children. They are kind, curious, and a daily inspiration to us all. We are an aspirational community, holding high expectations for every pupil to ensure they reach their full potential. Our goal is to foster a love of learning that empowers childrento achieve their very best, both academically and personally.

We are driven by our vision: "that all may have life, life in all its fullness." This means providing a rich, vibrant education that nurtures the whole child—spiritually, emotionally and intellectually. While we are a Catholic school, we are a diverse school. We are proudly inclusive of all faiths and none, believing that our different backgrounds make our school family richer.
